Pulga (Flea Market). I saw so many ways to control a chaotic world: candles, rocks, perfumes. We all want to control our world, but GOd tells us to have no other gods/idols. This commandment (1 and 2) is given, not to make us feel bad, but to set us free from things that are only a semblance of power. As our kids go back to school, I can't give a magic taliman to go with them and keep them safe from all harm, but all of us can ask that God goes with them, watches over them, and guides them, in good times and bad.
