Zac Poonen ( - Present)

God called brother Zac Poonen to a new work early on in his Christian experience. The movement is now called Christian Fellowship Churches where the New Covenant of New Testament Christianity is clearly preached.

Brother Zac Poonen has written 25 books most of them being on the deeper Christian life. Many of these have been translated into a number of languages and have been circulated widely around the world. Being Like A Little Child

In Isaiah 11:6, we are told that during the 1000-year reign of Jesus on earth, when He returns, everything will be peaceful. There will be no wild animals, and life on earth will be simply wonderful. But we have a foretaste of that life in the church already - because the kingdom of God has already ... Read More

Being Merciful

We all have a flesh and we are living among others who have a flesh. And so we are constantly liable to injure one another knowingly and unknowingly. The only place where we'll never get hurt by anyone is in heaven. And so we need to forgive one another as long as we live on this earth. To err is hu... Read More

Being Ready For The Coming Of The Lord

When we think of the return of Christ to this earth, the important thing is not to know the exact date, but to be spiritually ready for His return. Many who are familiar with the prophecies concerning His coming, are not purifying themselves daily to His standard of purity. Thereby they prove that t... Read More

Being Secure In The Love Of God

The root cause of all our spiritual problems lies in our not knowing God as a Loving Father and a Sovereign God. One truth that has revolutionized my Christian life is the glorious revelation that Jesus gave us that the Father loves us just as He loved Him. Jesus prayed to the Father, ".....that the... Being Thankful is one of the Signs of Spiritual Growth

I read of a young man who was converted, but who was not wholehearted for the Lord. One day he had a dream in which he saw himself dying and entering heaven. There he saw the word "FORGIVEN" written across the record of his life. He rejoiced that he was forgiven and in heaven. But in heaven he saw s... Read More

Being "In The Spirit"

In Revelation Chapter 1:9,10 it is written : I, John, your brother and fellow-partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance which are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos, because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind... Read More

Bless the others and disappear - Seek to be Unknown

One characteristic of God's nature is that He hates all display and advertisement. It is written about God in the book of Isaiah 45:15, "Truly Thou art a God who hides Thyself, O God." God wants to make us like Himself - partaking of His nature that loves to do things without being noticed and witho... Read More

Brokenness

I thank God for the liberty I’ve had these last two days. And I’ve felt that where I have liberty, this means there are responsive hearts open to the voice of the Holy Spirit. I want to read a verse first in James, chapter 4, verse 5. It says, "Do you think the scripture speaks to no purpose? He (th... Read More

Christ-like Love

Jesus gave His disciples a new commandment just before He went to the cross. They were to love one another as He had loved them (Jn. 13:34). It is this last phrase that makes Jesus' command impossible to fulfill without God's grace. What is the distinctive feature of the love of Christ? Surely, it i... Read More

Clear Your Debt to the Whole World and to the Church

In 2 Kings 4:1 to 7, we read of a preacher's widow who was in debt. It's a sad thing when husbands die and leave their wives with a debt. That's something all of us should avoid at any cost. And preachers especially should avoid getting into debt because that is a bad testimony. Now the creditor had... Read More

Conscious and Unconscious Sin

There is also a difference between falling into sin and having sin. To have sin is to have unconscious sin in our personality - sin that we ourselves are unaware of, even though others who are more mature than us may be able to notice it in us. But such unconscious sin need never make us feel guilty... Read More

Consider Others As More Important Than Yourself

Jesus identified Himself totally with man. He was not ashamed to be a man. The Bible says He's not ashamed to call us His brothers. Sometimes we feel superior to other people. We feel we are more educated or we belong to a higher class of society. All this is because of the perverted pride that has ... Read More

Continuous Enlargement

The Spirit-filled life is a life that is continuously seeking greater degrees of fulness. " I am pressing on," says Paul, nearly thirty years after his conversion, and as he was drawing to the end of his life (Phil. 3:14). He still has not attained. He is seeking a still greater degree of the fulnes... Read More

Daily Transformation

We read in Genesis 1 about the re-making of the corrupted, spoilt, dark, empty earth. And by the time you come to the end of the chapter, it has become a beautiful earth once again. God Himself could look at it and say, "It is very good." Genesis 1 has a message for all of us. Satan has come into th... Read More

Daniel Passed Two Great Tests

Daniel was tested when the wise men could not interpret the King's dream, and the King passed an order to destroy all the wise men of Babylon (Daniel 2:1- 13). When Daniel heard this, he was calm and he handled the situation with great wisdom (Daniel 2:14). Here was a young man who had great wisdom!... Read More

DECEPTION THROUGH FALSE SIGNS AND WONDERS

There is a lot of deception in Christendom these days through false signs and wonders – just as Jesus warned us in Matthew 24:24, and as Paul did in 2 Thessalonians 2:9. Paul also warned us in 2 Corinthians 11:1-4 about the nature of this deception: It is being deceived by another Jesus, another spi... Read More

Destroy Satan's Fortresses in Your Mind

When David sees Goliath threatening Israel, notice his intense concern for the glory of God's name and the honour of God's people: "Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should taunt the armies of the living God?" (1 Sam 17:26). While the Israelites were all as unbelieving as their forefather... Read More

Develop the Habit of Listening to God

In Luke 17:26-30, Jesus tells us that the last days will be like the days of Noah and of Lot, in which people ate, drank, bought, sold, planted, built, and so on. Have you noticed that none of these things are sinful in themselves? They are all legitimate activities. Why then did Jesus mention them ... Read More

Develop the Habit of Listening to God

God speaks to us through many ways. He speaks to us primarily through His Word. If something is clearly written in God's Word, then we don't need to pray to find God's will, because it has already been revealed. God also speaks to us through our circumstances. Our Lord has the key to every door(Rev.... Read More
