Zac Poonen ( - Present)

God called brother Zac Poonen to a new work early on in his Christian experience. The movement is now called Christian Fellowship Churches where the New Covenant of New Testament Christianity is clearly preached.

Brother Zac Poonen has written 25 books most of them being on the deeper Christian life. Many of these have been translated into a number of languages and have been circulated widely around the world. He clearly and passionately shares the narrow way of Christian discipleship that is neglected by so many modern preachers.

Every Mountain Will Be Flattened (Zech.4:6,7)

In God's work, we will face hindrances and obstacles of many types. We may wonder why God allows us to face such mountains, when we are wholeheartedly seeking to do His will alone. But God's purpose is to exercise our faith, so that we can experience His mighty power reducing all those mountains to ... Read More

FAITH

Repentance is the first part of the foundation of the Christian life. Faith is the second. To have faith in God means to trust Him and to believe what He has said in His Word, in spite of what our feelings may tell us or what other people may tell us. It's as simple as that. Here are three facts con... Read More

Faith to Fulfil all of God's Will

I will speak this morning about faith. In my own life, this was something I couldn’t understand for many years. In the earlier part of my life and even the earlier part of my Christian life. And I wanted to get an answer from the Word of God, because I saw this verse in Hebrews 11, in verse six, whi... Read More

Faith to Receive God's Gifts

God has many wonderful things to give us. All His gifts are gifts of grace. But we need faith to receive those gifts. The Bible says we are saved "by grace through faith" (Eph. 2:8). Grace is God's Hand reaching down to us loaded with the blessings of heaven. Faith is our hand reaching up and taking... Read More

Faithfulness In Serving Our Fellow Believers

In Matt. 25:31-46 Jesus deals with our attitude towards our fellow believers in need. That need may be spiritual or physical. Here we see that some inherit the kingdom because they served their fellow believers as unto the Lord. Their service was so much in secret that their left hand did not know w... Read More

Faithfulness In The Hidden Life

(Matt. 25:1-13). In this parable, Jesus spoke of ten virgins. Notice that none of them were harlots (See Jas. 4:4 for a definition of spiritual harlotry). They were all virgins. In other words, they had a good testimony before men. Their lights were all burning (Matt. 5:16). Their good works were se... Read More

Fellowship

The most valuable brother and sister in any church is the one who can bring the atmosphere of heaven into a church and who can build fellowship in that church. And such a person need not necessarily be one of the elder brothers. All of us have the opportunity to become such valuable brothers and sis... Read More

FELLOWSHIP AND THE CHURCH

We have already seen that God wants to transform us into the likeness of Christ. But this transformation doesn't take place in us in isolation from other disciples of Jesus. It is only along with them that we are transformed. God wants us to live, not only in dependence on Him, but in fellowship wit... Read More

Fellowship And Unity

Love is the primary mark of Jesus' disciples. So fellowship between the disciples of Jesus is vital. In Matthew 18:18-20, we read of the power that results from such fellowship among the disciples of Jesus. A paraphrase of those verses would read something like this: The Lord Jesus said, "If two or ... Read More

Fellowship With Jesus

I'd like to turn to the Word of God in Revelation Chapter 4. After the Lord had given John a revelation of Himself in Chapter 1, He gave John an insight into the actual state of many of the churches in that part of the world - in Chapters 2 and 3. As you know, many of those churches were in a very b... Read More

Fifth Requirement For Spiritual Progress -The Body Of Christ

Under the new covenant, God has not intended that we should be lone Christians living by ourselves - even if we are living in victory over sin. God's will is that there should be a Body of disciples of Jesus manifesting His glory together. There is a difference between a Body and a congregation. A c... Read More

Fighting The Good Fight

"Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of eternal life" (1 Tim 6:12) We can take hold of etneral life (the divine nature) only as we fight the good fight of faith. And if we want to fight that good fight, then we must do all we can to avoid fighting other fights that are not good fights. We are r... Read More

Find Your Security in the Love of God

The root cause of all our spiritual problems lies in our not knowing God as a Loving Father and a Sovereign God. One truth that has revolutionized my Christian life is the glorious revelation that Jesus gave us that the Father loves us just as He loved Him. Jesus prayed to the Father, ".....that the... Finishing With Sin

The first step in this race is to stop sinning consciously. Under the Law, there was no exhortation to stop sinning. But under the new covenant, all the apostles are agreed that the twofold message of the gospel is exactly as Jesus put it : freedom from condemnation and ceasing from sin. Paul says, ... Read More

Five Main Reasons Why Many Believers are not Baptised in the Holy Spirit

There are FIVE main reasons why many believers are NOT baptized in the Holy Spirit: (1) They have been INTELLECTUALLY CONVINCED by some theological argument that they were baptized in the Spirit when they were born again. And even though they are defeated, powerless, empty and fruitless, they contin... Read More

Five Sins that Jesus hated most

Four Important Distinctions We Need to Know

1. Temptation and Sin : There is a difference between being tempted and sinning. The Bible says, "Each one is tempted when he is enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin…" (Jas.1:14, 15). Sin is not born in our heart until the lust in our flesh has been allowed to... Read More
