Exmouth Christian Fellowship is located in Exmouth, West Australia, 1,200km north of Perth, on the Ningaloo coast.  Our pastor is Keith Stark, a retired US Air Force SMSgt who is dedicated to sharing the Gospel with everyone he meets.  We pray over those who have listened to the sermons, as well as those who have yet to hear the sermons...that God would bless those abundantly and lives would be changed because God met with them. Prophecy. What a loaded word! There is far more prophecy in the Bible than any other manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Without it, we would be missing extremely critical information about who God is. Prophecy is essential to Christianity. Yet many Christians I know have been injured by statements made by so-called “prophets”, and we are justifiably concerned about people running about claiming they know what God wants other people to do. Can we unravel this? Does God still wish to speak to people today? Yes, He does, but we might have to rethink the very nature of what this word means.

When we are introduced to her, she is being treated unbelievably unfairly in a system far beyond her control. How she reacts, and God’s eventual control, should remind us of other heroes of the faith, such as Joseph and Daniel.

On any given week we have good food, satisfying moments, and the time and resources to do what we want. But, what if our view of the world is an illusion? What if things aren’t nearly as good as we pretend they are? Is there a solution, or should we simply resign ourselves to having the best time possible before we die?
