A lot of people have been predicting that it is the end of the world. God has not told us when exactly that will be, but he has told us how he wants us to live whether it is the end of the world or not. Let’s talk about that as we see how Daniel lived through a time of hardship and conflict.

A Permanent Place in the Family (Sermon on John 8:31-36)

He tells us to cling to the Words of Jesus, as our pastors preach it faithfully. He warns us that the world will fill with false teachers, but by those powerful Words of Christ, we will remain strong in the faith until our earthly end and our heavenly crown!

“Strengthened By THAT Food” (Sermon on 1 Kings 19:3-8)

Jesus no longer is visibly with us, but we still see him through the Bible.  This is the Word of God through which the Holy Spirit speaks to us through the writings of Jesus’ apostles.  Only in God’s Word can we find true peace!

This is a WELS sermon from Year B Day of Pentecost: Though he has withdrawn his visible presence, Jesus is closer to us than ever.  Therefore, whatever the future holds, we will not fear!  Readings are Ezekiel 37:1-14; Acts 2:1-21; and John 14:25-27.
